A single controller will control up to 4 Tunzes in unison, which is the only downside. However, the flow will still be random (but less wave-like) since it can be adjusted. W/ two on either end pointed toward the middle of the tank, when the flow is at 100% the streams will meet in the middle flow around the backside of the tank, creating a highly turbulent flow pattern near the middle (more so than the 7095 IMO). At 30%, the effect is less pronounced. Also, with a little creativity, you can do that upgrade for about 1/3 that price (I think the XFMR is more like $90). If you get the Tunze magnets, the range is like +/- 30 degrees, with no vertical adjustment possible (other than moving the magnet up/down). HTH.
