tunze, tunze streams, multicontroller, ... ?

Ok, I get that Tunze streams, etc are all good products, but, what I don't get is what do you need? Like can I buy just one Tunze, and use that? Do I need more than one? What about the magnet deal? How does it hang on the tank? Do you need the multicontroller? Can you adjust the flow on all of them? Why would you adjust flow, if it pushes water around in swirls? PLease explain this to me, as I want to make sure if I buy this stuff, and spend all the money, I wanna know what I am getting. thanks so much!

You can hang the tunze with the brackets that it comes with but for convenience many prefer the magnets.

The controllable streams can be hooked up to the multicontroller which is a wavemaker and then some for those pumps. To really take advantage of all the features you need 4 streams, but even with just 2 you can do some neat stuff. The single controller will pulse one or two streams, but that's it. No "other" functions like the multicontroller.

The non controllable streams can be hooked up to a timer and turned on/off once an hr.
