Tunze wavebox 6208

Yes, this is too loud, the usual cause of this will be that the pump has split in half so the front cover is no longer connected, please open the wavebox and check this.

Hello,

thanks for your reply Rvitko.

I thought it was something like this, so I already had a plastic rubber around the pump to ensure that the two parts don't get away from each other.... some other people advised me that I should wait about a month for the noise to go away... any ideas/experience on that?

today the noise is less than yesterday, but still, I can listen to it....

is there a diagram/picture showing exactly how the pump should be placed in the wave box? I mean should the wire be on the up side or the down side? should the pump be pushed all the way back in the wave box so that it touches the little circle at the back?

thanks a lot...

It is true the noise will reduce in about 2 weeks but what you show is very noisy, more than I think will reduce and I suspect something is wrong.

The wire will run down and over to the left and up, it goes around the piece that touches the back of the pump.

Thanks for your quick answer Rvitko.... will try to reposition the pump in the correct way.... should i push it all the way back so that it "sits" on the little circle? I also found "Tunze WaveBox Foam-rubber pan (6215.300)" is this a good addition for wavebox 6208?

thanks again, and sorry for all my questions...
