Tunze Wavebox for sale. Comes complete with magnet holders and controller. Everybody knows about this product and how cool it is, so I won't bore you with the details.

I just shut my reef tank down and I'm parting out my equipment. This was probably one of the neatest pieces of reef equipment i've seen in a long time.

$400. They're selling for $500 online and they can be difficult to find at times. Prefer local pickup. I'm in Dunedin, but I can bring it with me to work in Tampa as well.

i can't believe nobody has snatched this thing up yet. this is one of the coolest circulation devices ever made for a reef tank. it actually sends a small wave through the tank, causing debris to get lifted from rocks and soft corals to sway in the current.

check out tunze's site if you're not familiar with it.

i prefer a local purchase on this, but i'll throw it up on ebay if there is no interest here.

the pm's are really starting to roll in now for the wavebox.

here are more details. it is about a year old, maybe less.

it comes with two magnets. the wavebox is designed to only use two magnets, no more no less.

i believe the magnets i have are designed to be used on half inch glass. i am using them on a half inch acrylic tank with no problems. you have to be very careful not to get your fingers caught between the magnets and the glass as they're quite powerful.

the wavebox comes with the controller, light sensor, and all parts. it is in perfect working order. it even has a nice coat of coralline on there to help it blend in. i'll throw the coralline in free of charge :D

any other questions, let me know. like i said, i am getting a lot of pm's on these now. first come (with cash), first serve as they say :)

Hey, you told me you wouldn't sell just the wavebox that I would have to buy the streams also? And your price went up?

i'm no expert on forum etiquette, but wouldn't this be more appropriate for a pm rather than trying to disrupt my ad here?

but as long as you want to do this online....

yes, i told you i wanted to sell them as a package. so what? i changed my mind.

yes, the price went up. i was originally trying to sell everything together under one post and i was trying to package price the items.

now i am selling them item by item in individual ads, so therefore it's going to be a little more money. not to mention i'm still selling it for far less than what it costs from tunze new......

is this a good enough public explanation for someone who told me that he didn't want to buy these items now anyway due to the loss of his job?

oh, and i'm keeping the wavebox for now. please disregard the ad.

no one was interested in purchasing it locally and i don't want to ship it.

thanks for the interest though.
