Tunze Wavebox or Ecotech Vortech?

Tired of my 2 SureFlow 1600 Maxijet mods on my 90 gallon. If I mount them in the corners I lose a lot of space to place corals cause of the wide strong flow. Currently have them mounted on the front third of the sides aimed at each other. Not very asthetic. And no matter where I place them all the sand gets blown away from the front of the tank all the way down to the bottom glass.
Thinking about going with either a Tunze Wavebox (nano if it would be large enough) or a Vortech. Opinions on either one? Would either one provide enough movement by itself, or would I still need to supplement the return pump's 1400 GPH return? Also, how real of a possibility of either one of these blowing the tank's seals?
Thanks

vortec works great on my 120. if tank is in good shape i don`t think vortec would damage seals. dont know anything about wavebox

if you watch the videos of vortechs, you would realize they have more than enough flow for a 90, and as for the wavebox, id rather have the vortech because of how small it is in the tank.

The vortech will provide better flow and not take up as much room. A wave box will make a better wave. I don't really like wave boxes that much so I would pick the vortech.

You would still want extra flow with a wave box so you would need to at least keep 1 of the maxijets.

I run my vortechs on reef crest and not pulse. Makes for really nice random water movement.

With the wavebox you would still need flow from a power head
Never used the vortech. I always used the tunze they work great on big tanks ,that u can hide them . The vortech mite look nicer on the 90 gal .

Vortech all the way! Wavebox will still need some powerheads in there whereas with the vortech it will provide nice flow for you 90g by itself.

i have been running 2 vortechs for the past year and have run into plenty of problems, ice cap has been pretty cool about taking care of me but now that the warranty has run out i don't know how cool they are going to be. vortechs are very loud when you pulse them especially if you sync them together. all in all i don't think they are worth paying $419 for. i don't know much about the wavebox but it seems like a ripoff too. they are both really cool but overpriced!

I have four Vortech and love them. I sold off all my Tunze Streams, still a great product but I love my Vortechs more.

I have 6 now. Started with one and got a new one as money permitted. Never had a problem with them other then one of the old ones having a rust issue that Ecotech took care of in a matter of days.

Is there anyone with a CL on their tank that they use in conjunction with the Vortech? I'd like to know if I even need my dart if I purchase this. If I sell the Dart, that should take a nice chunk out of the final price of the Vortech.

Well I have a closed loop with a dart and 4 Vortechs. I prefer the Vortech over my close loop and if I could do it over again I would not have had my tank drilled for one.
