Tunze wavebox or ...

I'm about 48 hours away from making this purchase...620 Canadian dollars.

My tank in 48x24x24.

Is the wavebox really for me or will I be better off with less?

The wavebox would be great in that tank but you need a directional flow source as well. This could be a 6000 Stream or a sea swirl or a closed loop but on it's own the wavebox is usually not a flow solution.

I've got 2 maxi 1200 right now and my return pump, a queit one 3000. I'm replacing the maxi's with 2 seio 820's and the wavebox.

I'm just wondering if I need the wavebox, how effective it would be in a 48, I haven't seen a 48 in an action video yet.

I have a 75 at the office and I get a 3/4" ave from the wavebox, I have just taht and a 6000 and about 350gph of return from the sump.
