Tunze Wavebox Stopped Working

Hi,
I have owned my wavebox for just over a year now, and suddenly I woke up one morning a few days ago and realized the wavebox wasn't running. I removed and inspected the pump, and all seems perfectly fine there. The control, however, (with the red/green led's and the red feeding button) seems not to have any power, as it doesn't light up and just seems dead. I don't know if the transformer is dead, the control box, or the metal box that's mounted to the wall.

Any suggestions on how to get this up and running again?
thanks

I would send in the pump, include the transformer but usually the issue will be with the electronics, provided they did not get wet it will be covered under warranty. I cannot emphasize enough shipping with insurance and a tracking number and making sure it is well packed, we get a few crushed pumps on occasion and we also have had the mail service just totally send something into a black hole.

Can I just send it off to that address?
Will they contact me when it's fixed and is there any info I should include in the box?
Nothing is water damaged, and it is even on a surge protector.

Thanks

Yes, it would be going to me personally and yes it will be fixed within no more than a day usually.

Hi,
I sent the unit to you a few days ago. Have you received the box from address number of 32201 yet?

I would need to check Monday, I am pretty sure we had a repair from Michigan and had finished and returned it.

We have 2 boxes from MI, that arrived Friday, one by mail and one UPS, they will be repaired today.

thanks for the great service!
I have received the wavebox and it seems to be in excellent working condition

I'm not sure, it just wouldn't turn on,
rvitko,
I have a question about the settings of the wavebox
I have it at one end of a 7ft. tank and at the opposite end there's a plastic sheet with gravel glued to it that bends up and consumes about a foot, appearing like a sloping sand beach. I have adjusted the frequency a lot, and I just cannot seem to get the "rocking" very high. Do you think this is because of the plastic curve at the other end? Or do you think ina 7ft. tank I need a slave box too? its only 18 in. high and 2 ft. wide. Also, what level should I put the power knob ( tiny rubber screw driver adjustment) to on the metal box that is mounted on the wall?

I would have the driver at full power, I think the slope may have an impact but keep in mind the tuning is very sensitive and a hair width difference can affect wave height.

The driver went bad on your pump. It is hard to say the cause, could be a power surge, a defect, the pump being jammed for a while.
