I was thinking of adding one to my 180 aga but am unsure how it would react with the overflows???

It works, the wave is shorter because of the spill over and it can be noisy if you don't have a tall durso pipe but I think it works fine, the wave height is about 1" from what i have seen in a friends Oceanic.

I have a wavebox in my 180 with dual overflows, one in each corner, I get 1-1.25" wave with little noise

To all you who have a 180 with dual overflows...Where did you end up setting the potentiometer to get the wave action the best? Also, where do you have the wave box--in front of the overflow, or on the side of the overflow by the back glass (my preference)? I'm testing one out from a friend, and will probably buy it, but want to make sure I can get it all fired up first. :)

I have a 180G with dual corner overflows.

My wavebox dial setting is at 9 o'clock. You have to be patient and wait for about a minute to get that rocking back and forth motion to settle. Once it settles, then you can fine tune the dial further, but in very small increments. You will know when its dialed in, you will see a see-saw pattern of your water, waves, and the splash that you will hear from your overflows will go in unison. (left splash, right splash, left splash, right splash) Its totally cool to watch.

My box is set next to the side of the overflow. I cant put it in front, bcoz I also have the 6100 streams and thats where the stream sits in front of the overflow.

It's a great product !

joecos--thanks for the info! I would like place it along the side of the overflow. Let's see how many frags I'll make now. :)
