Hey guys.I have myself 3 tunze 6055's a 7095 multicontroler and a apex unit. Was wonder if I can run the controller from the apex unit as I already have it or if I can just run the tunze powerheads from the apex unit and still do variable speeds .I'm new to all this gear just getting back into reefing.Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You will want to use the apex to control you Tunze's. There is no way to interface the 7095 controller, and you don't need it with the Apex.

To connect your apex to your Tunze's you will need the 2 channel to apex cable:

This one cable will send a control signal to two powerheads, and since you have three powerheads you will need two cables.
Then you will need to write or copy scripting for the variable speed ports on the apex to ramp the intensity and duration of the powerheads. search the forum for scripting

Just sell the 7095...

+1.. To reiterate what Barrett noted, You cannot control the 7095 for the Apex. You can however use your Apex's built in variable speed ports or Apex VDM modules to control them if you get the Tunze Apex cables. Each cable can control up to two Tunze's on the single RJ45 connector. The Apex has two RJ45 connnectors for a total of 4 variable speed ports so you can conrol up to 4 Tunzes with the Apex base unit or an Apex VDM module.

Below is a thread I started on the forum with all my Tunze Apex programming. I have a fairly comprehensive Tunze setup connected to my Apex with several profiles for all kinds of different flow that changes throughout the day and into the night. The thread is pretty explanitory but I would suggest reading the thread in it's entirety as it includes some updates to my progamming as well as a lot of questions and answers. FWIW, the Apex allows for much greater control over the Tunzes than any of the Tunze controllers.. I did however use my 7096 controller initially to determine what worked best for my display and then mimicked that flow for some of my profiles.
