Hi Rvitco, I am just wondering if the turbelles generate less heat at night when the photosensor kicks in. I am thinking of getting a photosensor for my Turbelle if it does.
Thanks

Yes and no. For a time they get hotter internally, they are not producing more heat but the heat of the copper coil dissipates more slowly and rises into the magnet chamber. They do use less electricity and thus produce less heat when they are going slower but it is a small difference and in all likelihood in 100gallons of water or more no difference will be noted because the tank will not lose much heat before full power comes back.
