Turbinaria Cup Coral not well?

I picked up some cup Ruffled Ridge coral about 2 weeks ago. When i first got it the flesh was nice and dark purple with yellow polpys. As i have had it. the purple is kinda fading to a duller lighter color. Its not bleaching just fading. I have it about mid way up in good flow under a ecoray 60DX LED fixture. Is it getting too much light? i notice that its a bit mucousy with a little bit of film over the coral? ANy thoughts? Pics are not helpful since i cant get a good shot and its very faint so hard to notice
