At the risk of sounding like an idiot, do turbo snails have a collective mass spawn? I admit I was drinking wine Friday night when I first noticed what look like micro-bubbles in the tank. All my 30+ snails climbed as high as they could. 20 or so were on the glass along the very top. Some where spraying what I assumed were eggs across the surface and 1 (AFAIK) was excreting a white milky substance. Below on the rocks, another was spraying eggs upward into the water. Some of the fish were busy eating the eggs floating in the water.
It was most active at the beginning but the spawn went on for several hours until the lights went out.
btw, this is a separate tank then the one that is currently cycling.
I thought turbos laid eggs on the glass in a spiral fashion and didn't do a pelagic spawn. Any ideas?
