turning off 6000's via power outlet

i am running my newly ordered 6000's without any controller at this stage. I have the 7095 on order so it will be a couple of months.

will the 6000's suffer any damage if i switch them off once a day to feed for 10 minutes ?

I have also wound down the speed on both of them from the driver box with a small screw.

That will be fine. As long as it isn't done more than once an hour.
