Turnover rate

I read about turnover rate, Have a generaly idea what it is. Can somoenve explain exactly what is it. How do you figure it out. And what is a good turnover rate with mostly SPS.

i personally go for 50X

With a mostly SPS tank I would go now lower than 40 times an hour.

Turnover is measured by the amount of flow in tank, if you have 3500 GPH in the tank (125)you divide that by your tank size.
If you have that flow you would be turning the tank over 28 times an hour.
