Tuxedo Urchin

I'm always amused with the decorations my Tuxedos have chosen to carry around with them.

Last night this one grabbed the thermometer off the glass and is floating around the tank hanging from it now. What an adrenaline junky!

Oh man just saw this now. That is frickin' gold. Man that's funny. I get a real kick out of mine too but that takes it. My blue tuxedo is covered in shells, two different types of Zoas that are splitting and enjoying the ride, some chunks of rock and at one point he picked up a discarded spine from the long spiny urchin, wannabe. Haha. I was noticing that over the last couple days there are a lot more long tentacles coming out of him. Does this mean he is looking for food, perhaps not getting enough to eat. My hair algae is basically all gone but I am now getting much more Coraline. Will try the elastic trick with the seaweed though that seems like a good idea. I'm sure my tangs will destroy that before the urchin can get to it.

Mine get's pretty ambitious at times. This is a large frag disc with a trio of Rasta zoas.

A couple of days before he managed to dislodge this chalice frag from it's rock.

Mine doesn't seem to eat any aglae except coralline. It's cool to watch and doesn't do any harm other than carrying around frags occasionally.
