Like the title says. I got 2 of them. $2,500 each. Help me fund my honeymoon:rollface:

Get it today!

Holy price gouging batman! (lol) From what I saw in the news I think the majority of people who bought them are doing the same thing on ebay. It's hard to believe that people will pay that much when they can buy it new for $600 (although they will have to wait until more of them are stocked). Good luck JDrex.

Supply and Demand my friend, not to mention I waited over 2 days in the cold for these. Sony says they are only going to have 400,000 for North America by christmas. So, I think the vast majority of them are already here...so I doubt you will see any in stores for quite some time. It is said that the average consumer won't see them in stores until April.

Gotta love capitalism hopefully you make enough to get a bigger tank or better equipment, already have a Xbox 360 that I don't play enough of to justify buying it.

With the 360 as a template, here is my guess.

You will not see many if any pop up for another 2-4 weeks. Then a few will trickle in every week to each store, but only the most dedicated people will get them (assumeing the employees dont buy to sell on ebay, and atleast half will). Then right after xmas, you will see some more pop up and if your lucky you will get one at a shop. Starting middle of January, early Feburary they will be pretty readily available, but still not on the shelf. But if your really looking for one, you will have one by then. Come March to April they will be on the shelf for anyone and everyone.

I think 2500 ea is a stretch. I dont buy the hype of the prices they claim to go for on ebay right now. I will believe it when I see it. That said, Id guess that 1500 is a safe bet for a true sale price on any that you dont buy direct from a store from now till xmas.

On a side note, I got my 360 on Jan 1st by walking into a Wal Mart at about 1 pm. I expected the would be gone, as I had heard in advance that wal mart would have some for the Jan 1 at all stores. I had been looking since the release day, and was following leads on the internet. I image there will be a ps3 tracker site, just like with the xbox site at the time. Id also GUARANTEE that Best Buy will get one more batch, and hold them for a add before xmas. Im also willing to bet that Wal Mart will have some on the 1st for a promo. Your far more likely to get one on the 1st, as alot of the kids will have them allready, and the 18-30 crowd will be to hung over to stand around waiting like they will do for the Best Buy special.

One last thing, I love my 360 and have no intention of getting the ps3. Ive never been a playstation fan, and I havent played the xbox360 more then 10 hours in 3 months. I do however have all my cds on the 360, and I use the music player daily as a great baby charm. When my little boy starts to loose his mind and nothing will calm him. You put that screen up, and hes locked in. And I get to atleast hear some decent music. If nothing else the 360 is worth the 300-400 as a multi disc changer. I have about 90 cds in mine, and havent had to load a cd in almost a year now.

Good luck on selling them, I do hope you get the 2500 ea, let us know and be hoenst. Id love to hear how its really turning out.

For sure. I am just going with how much they are going on eBay now. If someome wants to make an offer I have no problem with that. I don't intend to "screw" anyone over, but at the same time I will try to ride the wave as long as I can.

I was at the Nebraska Furniture Mart last week and asked how many they were getting and they told me that they would get 8 in the first shipment and they were going to donate all of those to charity so they didn't have to worry about the lines.

AAAAHHHH!!!! i can't believe its 600 freakin dollars!!! Yes, it may have super cool graphics, blue ray DVD player, wireless controls, all that stuff, but its still, just a video game system... :)

I heard on the radio one went for $15,000 and a couple more for $4-5k... What a marketing scam.

How did you get your hands on 2?
At the super Wal-mart near me, I heard they only received 4 total.

the most i have seen them got for on ebay is $1300 with free games and movie. i think 2500 is way to much unless it is to pay for the ammonia you got while waiting outside:D

Me and my fiance saw this as a great opportunity to fund our honeymoon so we waited in line at Best Buy. They got 28.

JDrex, with time I think you'll make some cash. I watched the first guy in Yankton buy one and a guy at the end of line hand him $3500 cash. There's people out there that will pay the money, you just have to find them. For people who think even $600 is a lot, you should look at the cheapest blu-ray players, they're around $1000, and that's just the blu-ray, no gaming system...
