This is the abridged version as I closed my "preview post" in error and just lost 15 minutes of typed data.
All was well in my tank I thought.
I purchased a hippo tang 4/17/2014.
White spots noticed 4/19/2014
Purchased amino acids, garlic, neon gobys and cleaner shrimp to help.
I do not have a hospital tank.
Spots were not visible yesterday on the hippo.
He did not make it through the night last night and this morning I find my yellow tang is struggling to breathe.
I do not want the rest of my fish to perish and need to act immediately.
I am looking for any solutions to assist in saving the lives of the rest of my fish.
I am going to a LFS today to buy a hospital tank.
What size?
What water do I fill it with?
What salinity?
How do I cycle it fast?
Do I place live rock in there?
Suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks:
