Two Clowns?

I have a full grown Ocellaris clown in the 46 bow. I have been talking about getting another one, but hadn't researched it yet. Well, my gf brought me one home last night. Its very small. Would it be ok to add to the 46 with the other one or will there be a problem? Right now i have the small one in my 2.5 nano. Here's a pic to give the idea of how small it is.

If they are diff. in size then they should be fine if they are close to the same size then they will fight. I would put him in the 46 if I were you.

Yes, i know he cant stay in the little tank. I just put him in there until I could find out what to do with him. I will say one thing, she made a good choice. He's about the brightest colored most active clown i've seen.

I did the same adding a smaller one and everything was fine after the addition.

This is common practice when trying to get clowns to pair. There's a good chance the large one you have is now a female, and if you put the small one in with it, provided they become friends, it will likely become a male. Of course there's plenty of information concerning breeding of clowns etc. out there should you like to know more about that. Anyway, nice tank. Good Luck.
