Two Corals Fused Together

Has anyone ever had two corals fuse together? I have two monitopora's one green on purple that have grown together.

Alot of people are mounting two different color M. capriocornis to the same rock area and letting them intertwine. I havent done so but it is a cool idea....shawnts has some pictures of how he did this...i am sure he may chime in on this.
