Two female clowns.

I was considering pairing up two female clowns. Will one become male? I want to pair up these two, the picasso is slightly bigger.

Both have been paired up with smaller clowns for a while.

I believe that Rod had report one indecent (( believe that it was a Clarkii )) of a female reverting back to a male, but there was some unique circumstances with it. But, 99.5% of the time it is going to be a one way street, once a female it will stay a female. Honestly I see one thing happening if you were to try this -- at least one dead clown.

I would recommend you give/sell one of your females to someone who wants it, and then buy a juvenile or a male.

While it's been documented that a female clown has reverted back to male, it is extremely rare. I, too, don't see this ending well...

Thanks guys for the info both of these fish are about a year and a half old. Most likely females, I'll just pick up another male for the lone snowcasso.
