Surprised!!!!

Cool fish, but he will not be happy in that tank...they really need a LOT of swimming room horizontally. Hopefully, he will be OK longterm.

Wow, how big do they need? 6ft x 4ft x 30" I figured would be fine. How big do you think they need Nook?

I shouldn't rain on your parade...but, most divers who see these fish in the ocean and the way they feed, school, and swim would say they are best left in the ocean. They are big, bold, fast and need a lot of space. Doesn't mean we can't keep them though.

I waited a month to get him from Andy. He is about he mellowist fish I have, but you are right, as he gets bigger who knows.

If he lasts 3-5 years he can move into my 12 ft tank I am planning. :D

12ft is just the prelim to the 149 footer he's working on

Actually what I want is 13' x 4' x 28" with three pipe overflows on either side, dual hammerheads on either side for return, sump of 6' x 4' x 2' that can handle that kind of flow. Was toying with the idea of having the water coming from the tank to the sump be directed to a in house waterfall before it goes into the sump. Only problem would be salt creep.

Fun to plan
