You don't always need the whole subject, I like the photograph just fine the way it is!The rest would have been out of the DOF anyhow.
ThanksOriginally posted by dknuckles
Nice pics!
You must have a lot of patience to wait for those shots!
The first time you asked what lens I used, I answeredOriginally posted by TitusvileSurfer
But Recty, which lens did you use? And what was your shutter speed/aperture/ISO out of curiosity?
It's not too crazy. My brother is going to buy the new Rebel that takes HD video within a month or so, I'll be able to post up some good video of feeding time when he does thatOriginally posted by IPT
dude, your tank must be a battle zone at feeding time!
Thanks. I'm always amazed how much detail that macro lens can pull out of the face of a fish. The textures it gets are just crazy, like on top of the dussumieri's mouth... to the naked eye, it just looks nice and smooth but it's quite wrinkled when you get a good picture of it.Originally posted by Reef Bass
+1 for the tighter cropped dussu. I like the Queenie shot personally. The visual quality around the face of the convict is excellent. Go buddy!
