two part in fowlr?

I just ordered brs two part for my reef and it got me thinking if I should use it in my scorps tanks. There are currently no corals or anything. Pure fowlr. Do they need it too?

Maybe in time, but then it wouldn't be a fowlr Currently no and there aren't any in there. I just wondered if the cal, alk, and mag was needed in any way for the fish to flourish or be happier.

Save your money and get something else , fish doesnt need a lot of cal or alk

doing 2 part will stabalize your ph and alk. which helps the with fish only also.

We simply use a 1 part product in our RO/DI...Seachem's Reef Builder IIRC. It helps maintain pH and gives us really nice coralline growth, which is nice, because it "nudges" the coloration in many of our specimens (Scorpaeniformes) and helps others maintain their color.
