Sorry, here comes a long winded story.
Ok so about 6-7 months ago my goby went missing. He was usually out and very active so we knew he was gone. He was paired up with a tiger pistol. We did not hear from the shrimp either, no loud clicking. Well about a month ago we saw the pistol. So we wanted to get another goby.
A few weeks ago my Kessil light went out. Lucky for me Kessil was loose enough with their 2 year warranty. It was 3 months beyond 2 years. But wanting to test my light to verify that it was not the power cord I took it the Corner Reef where I bought it and knowing that he had one. So while at CR I saw he had a goby that I wanted. I took it home and after acclimating put him in. All was well that night but next day no sign of him. I was not too worried since he was clearly upset with the move.
Kessil sent me a new light and I have to slide my tank out from the wall to get the old one off. While back there I could see the back of the corner over flow. I saw the face of the goby just barely visible through glass. I had to drain down the overflow to get him. I tossed him back in the tank. The next day I saw 2 gobies staring at me. I thought may just a reflection but no there are 2.
They tussled a bit for a day or so. It now they just seem to stay away from each other.
Has anyone ever had 2 if these guys together?
