Two Yellow Watchman Gobies

Two and a half months ago, I moved my tank. The yellow watchman goby disappeared one night and I never heard from him again. I figured he didn't handle the move well and my emerald crabs made quick work of him. He was replaced by another one a month or so later and the new one immediately paired up with my pistol shrimp. Flash forward to today. I was cleaning my overly crowded sump, and what do ya know? There he is. I guess my overflow shield was left off that night and I hadn't put my filter socks on yet. So my question is, is it possible to keep both of them together in the tank? I plan on selling one of them but I don't want to stress either out in the mean time.

Thanks in advance!

Either they will pair or a quick death for one. I read about the lighter blue one being the female and tried pairing them up.

Shared the shrimp for two days. Then day later split up, then day later one dead.

I'm thinking of creating a similar situation in my tank. Two gobies (Hi Fin Red Banded and Orange Stripe Prawn) and one pistol shrimp. Would it be better to just get a second pistol shrimp so they don't fight about it? Or is it just something better not attempted?

I'm thinking I might just keep him in the sump until I can find a better home for him. Even if the two got along well, I only have a 36 gallon tank so I can't keep too many fish. I would like more variety so doubling up on gobies probably isn't the way to go.
