TX5 from sony

Just got the new TX5 from sony! Can't wait to start taking in water pics of my coral....anyone else doing this with this camera?

ya i tried one on a flower pot, but its REALLY wierd sticking your BRAND NEW $300 camera into your saltwater tank and THEN rinsing it in the sink haha. I'll have to try more soon!

Looks like a cool camera. I have a sanyo xacti that I take underwater photos with. It is kinda funny soaking your camera in a bowl of fresh water afterwords. I made the mistake of not doing so and had salt creep in all the nooks and crannies...lol

haha ya glad i read on some of the forums to make sure and do that otherwise i would have had the same problem! Got to love forums!

i use it too, still learning but sample pics are here:

last two were with macro mode on, which means no zooming but up to 1cm of focus range. i also took some intank shots due to its waterproofness (sp?), but its hard to do as i didnt see what i was photographing.. i might post them though if i find them

Wow, I love the hermit shots. Were those shot in your refugium?

not my sump, my display tank has fake seagrass, i use caulerpa prolifera as i cant get my hands on real seagrass.

Ok I'll have to get some up taken in the tank. All I know is I used this camera all over Europe and the pics are amazing! One of the best for a P&S

The color on BTA is great, almost has a fluorescent shine to it.
