add 1 fish per 5gals slowly.

Please dont follow this part of the advice. Accourding to that theory a porcupine puffer, tang, and a trigger could all go into my 20 and I would still have room for another fish.

A better rule of thumb would to be research a fish extensively (I.e. Size of fish both juvi and adult, minimmum tank size requirement for a nice long life, feeding behavior, fish compatiblity, etc, etc) Then if it is compatible with what you have make the purchase and Quarantine then add to your tank. There are tons of us who will help you but not many who will do the work for you.

That was a typo, thanks for catching that.....1" of fish per 5 gals.

Point meaning, your tank should not look like the holding tanks at the LFS, I can see how someone new could think this would be normal. And two, as I have told him before, these tanks are dynamic puzzles where every move needs to be considered, and weighed against future needs/wants of the tank.

That blue-spot jawfish is pretty. If only I had a DSB and a hundred dollar tuck away in my paypal account.

It's gotta be the sea grass wrasse. Was it near the front right of the store, in a tank with the zoos? It's got really odd behavior, a totally cool fish.

yea sacramentodots,i still need to do all that :)
i was just asking for the name of that fish that i like...

Sorry, wasn't trying to jump all over you......people nowadays want instant gratification and come out of the store with a tank in one hand and a bag full of fish in the other......I don't want to see you waste your money and get frustrated by buying fish too soon and having them die on you.:)

Alk "1.7 - 2.8 . on the card it says normal..
