type of lighting for LTA

What sized tank? They like moderate light IME. What qualifies as moderate depends on the depth of your tank. They are sand anemones, so, they will be close to the bottom, therefore, you'll need something that will penetrate some. However, IME, too much with them can also be just as bad as too little. I tend to doubt either option would be too much, but it depends on the tank. They also should have a well established stable tank. The recommendation not get one until the tank is at least 6 months old is probably a reasonable generality.

If the nem is placed, more or less, directly under the halide it should be fine, regardless of the other dimensions. The T-5s should be fine if they have individual reflectors, and the nem is placed directly underneath. After that it's a personal preference. The other dimensions would be useful to help determine which is the better lighting for the overall tank though. Also, the nem may more a bit, so the lighting for the overall tank may be important, as you will not necessarily have any say in where the nem decides to go.

That is assuming that they anemone would want to stay in that spot -- flow (( too much/too little )) can/will cause an anemone to move, so the other dimensions will be a factor too.

Whoops, I wrote, "Also, the nem may more a bit" , if that is re-written as "Also, the nem may move a bit", then I think we are on the same page. Typing was never my strong point apparently
