Types of star fish

I have never really kept starfish before. I did have a CC in one of my older setups, mean little bastard but in a cute way....

Anyway, I want to add several stars to my 210 reef and would like some suggestions of reef safe stars that are readily available.

For your size of tank you can keep linkia's, but just like many other starfish they tend to starve and die in many tanks. Their life expectancy is only a few months (2-4 years tops for those that have pristine and stable water conditions) and IMHO are better left in the ocean.


A brittle or serpent star will be fine.

What type of corals do you have in your tank?

It is a mix of mostly LPS and softies with some SPS.
