typhoon 3 would like help

looking to purchase a typhoon three water filter but i have no clue wat parts i would need to hook it up. Does it basically come with wat you need to hook it up or do i need to be a plumber to install it

If it's the unit for airwaterice, then my typhoon III came with basically everything I needed to hook it up myself.

If you're really concerned, I would contact them directly. They would more than gladly answer all your questions.

I've got one also. I really have enjoyed it. I've only had it for about 15 months now. I've changed filters once. My water is really bad - TDS is above 600 before filters. RO is running about 10 now. After my DI it is 0 when new. So we have really bad water here in the Panhandle of Texas (atleast for SW fish). And oh yes, everything came with it. You need to tell them how your going to set it up. I used a "Y" fitting off my washing machine connection (cold water side).

Same here, love my Typhoon3. There are a cpuple ways of hooking it up. You can use a saddle valve to tap into a cold water line directly, a faucet adapter that takes about 10 seconds to install or even a hose "y" typer connection. Depends on where you want to hook it up at. here are a few of them-

Hose "y"-

Supply valve(goes on your cold water pipe)-

Mine does what it's suppose to do, make zero TDS water for my tank and RO water for me to drink without any hassle. The biggest benefit for me is I don't have to lug water up the stairs anymore.
