Me too! I actually have a frag of it however it lost the "rainbowness" most of my corals are colored up nicely but not this one anymore. Its not brown but not rainbow either. I will post a pic when I get home of when it was rainbow. I'd like to hear about placement from people who have kept the color.

I had a frag but had to give it away because I moved across the country. It is a really cool looking piece!

Here is the pic of mine when I first got it, the blue poyps are still there but I lost all the green and reddish.

That doesn't sound like a Tyree Rainbow, but it definitely does sound cool.

Oh :lol: My tank is 20" and it sits midway up my tank. I have 250watt 14k halides that are 8" off the water surface.

How did it get Rainbow in the name. I see no resemblance to a rainbow?

At peak coloration there are silver, pink, purple and yellow tones seen. Certainly not ROY-G-BIV but multicolor nontheless.

If you blow on it with a turkey baster you can see full rainbow. poylps are blue and very thick to hide it like kien" picture
