a picture may not matter that much, i mean you are wating 3 years for the thing lol. what happens if the mother colony dies before you get your frag and you had already paid for it?
Steve does not charge you until he send out the frag. You have to some how contact ( calling is best) him 1-2 months before your reservation month so he can start to prep the frag for you. Sometimes the mother colony does not grow as expected and he will let you know. A lot of people do not follow up and he will put that months frag up for sell on the auction site or to other buyers. Steve is very honest about the color of his corals. When the frag is brown out, he will let you know and then you can make your decision to get it or not.
Over all, I am very happy with corals from Steve.
CanaryGirl, Give that Paletta A lovelli time...I have it from Steve and it took a while to color up but it is a sweet turquoise wiht the nicest turquoise polyps I have ever seen. It encrusted for quite a while and then threw up branches and grows very nicely, all very colorful .
I am curious what people think of the current status of reeffarmers and the whole LE thing.
Maybe my memory is fuzzy but I recall there only being a couple dozen LE pieces with the
Tyree tag to them but based on looking at the website now days... every coral is a Tyree
LE if he sells them. I am going to guess the buzz is totally watered down now days and has
become almost meaningless?
Some nice corals on his page though. The names are still pretty ridiculous... the pink dragon
tails acropora I found humorous to say the least.
And yes.. I am digging up old posts that I find interesting to gather peoples thoughts on
this somewhat argumentative topic.
