I'm not sure what kind it is, but it looks very much the large clams I can buy at my local seafood store for around $10 a pound.

Looks like what we call little necks- 25 cents ea. At local seafood stores- and good fish bait. They do not do well at reef temps.

These clams are regular clams that we eat. They are not photosynthetic and do not lower nitrates like the seller claim. They will not do well in our reef. Don't have enough to eat and the temperature is too high. They will be dead in a short time and release nutrient to out tank.
