u tubes keep filing with air

never used these before.i have a over flow box with 2 u tubes and a mag 3 return.iput air tubing in utubes to get air out but i think the bubbles are spilling into the box in the tank then going up tubes.after about 15 minutes there is a pretty good size air bubble in there any ideas besides getting the tank drilled (i know some of the wise guys will chime in with that)thanks

Bubbles collecting in the U tubes means you don't have enough flow.

Doug is right.

Jim- with a HOT overflow and a Mag 3 you should only need one U tube.

What kind of overflow box is it? Try it with just one tube.

i just noticed when i pulled one tube out air bubble dissappeared.i guess mike just gave me an extra u tube!thanks for quick replys!

Mine does the same thing but it's because it has a hairline crack in the bend on the bottom. It was driving me crazy (not that I have far to go for that) trying to figure it out lol. Took it all apart many times in the last couple of months and was and still am purging the air every 3 days or so. I just happened to stumble on it last weekend don't even remember how I spotted it. I just ordered a replacement and an extra one to have on hand.
