Alright, this sucks....

I got this slick huge LTA... that took all of 2 hours to schlep himself into his cave of choice (also the cave of my choice and the clowns yaay!) and he's been there for two months....

I added a powerhead this weekend... and this morning, he's on the move.... I dont think he likes the flow now....

My clowns are ****ed, and I'm sooooo not into moving corals at the moment as everything looks oh just the way I want it (aside from that my clowns will eat me alive as soon as I reach down there).

I killed the powerhead for now and redirected my sump return flow where it was originally to see if he wanders back but I'd really like to get that powerhead up and running, it's definately helped my organ pipe colony...

any idears or am I just at the whim of nature here?

He is gonna move to where he likes the light and flow. You can try and redirect him to the cave but he may move again.

When my Rose tip Bubble moved it split into two, so that was a bonus.
Now my maroon clowns each have their own anemone about 8" apart!
IME they will move till they are happy and you cannot do anything about it.

YEah same thing w/ my rose, it was fine and dandy for 3 mo's, I changed up a PH flow to accomodate increaced flow from my sump. and hes on the move.

heh turned powerhead off, and he moved back....

confusion.... what the hell apparently my flow was fine

I think it more about letting the Anemone decide where it want to settle. You could create a ledge or good light low flow area and direct him there with your power head, wait for it to settle then move stuff around it.
