Rafael, its a bay area aquatic wholesaler of fish and coral with some other misc. stuff in there as well. Which, you need a business license to buy from, and is not open to the general public without some form of authorization by ASAP themselves. Which only leads me to my own question....

Btw, I would welcome you to the forums and RC here Genicanthus, but I have a feeling you've been here before ;)

I am at a loss, they never charged me extra when I used my credit card, whether it was $2.50 or $25. Is this a new policy after the New Year?

Yeah it is something new that started late december. But it isnt for Just a credit card. It is for people who have a debit/check card. If you use the visa for a purchase under $20 they ask for you to pay the fee.

Brian, Its Not Ost I am upset with, it is there company they are going thru. They are in a five year contract with 4 to go. So they cant leave, I know peggy wouldnt do that to us, just for a extra buck.

To me, it seems like something fishy (pun intended) is going on.

1) It's really hard for me to believe that a business would sign a five year contract where a vendor can raise a fee and the business is stuck with it. Most contract either limits how much the fee can be raised OR there is a clause that gives the customer the option to void the contract if the term of the contract has changed. O Street should review their contract or contact an attorney.

2) I find it very difficult to believe that a credit card processing company would charge a $4 service fee for each transaction. I did a search online for Secure Systems to see what their rates are, but could not find such a credit card processing company (of course this doesn't mean anything). However, most credit card processing company charges between 2-5% of the purchase amount plus a per transaction fee (usually $0.25 - $0.50). Some company also charges a monthly fee for equipment rental and bank statements ($20). http://www.buyerzone.com/finance/credit_merchants/bps-merchant-account-rates.html

BTW - O Street has always had a $10 minimum for credit card purchase. I can understand the minimum purchase for credit card when it comes to small business who are barely making it by. That's why I usually don't complain. However, I do complain when it comes to large business.

There was 2 guys behind the counter and one of them could barely speak English, so I couldn't understand what he was asking me.

Dude, I've read your posts and I'm wondering if you speak English because I can hardly understand what you're saying. Try putting periods at the end, and capitals at the beginning of sentences (but try to refrain from sticking them randomly throughout your phrasing). Commas are not a solution to run-on thoughts, and for a small annual fee this site offers a spell check feature. Do us all a favor and try it out.

Your first post and talking crap. Welcome to RC, Learn some respect. But then again you have probably been banned from here before. I feel so special for you to make your first post about me. Did I influence you that much. LMAO

Grow up and get a life.

Ever heard of a thing called freedom of speech? There isnt much of it around any more, But I can say what I want. It was not rude, I was stating a Fact. I am more then positive that You and everyone else has said the same exact thing at one time or another.

Do you own A dell, Dell is famous for there tech support which people have a hard time understanding. So do NOT get on me about stating a simple non derogatory fact. Yes, He may be from America Or he may not be. I dont know, But I can say whatever I want If "I" have a hard time understanding someone and the way they speak.
