I went to an LFS that I trust with shipping and care...

He almost talked me into letting him order one.

I said I was getting ready to go on vacation (2 weeks) and wanted to wait until I come back.

He kept teasing/tempting me.... He said the last one he had went for close to $1000.... uugh.... vacation.... RED... vacation... RED.... .. ... .. .. VACATION.

I have determined through a little 'trial' and a lot of 'error' that my Mag apparently doesn't actually like a lot of flow

I had been able to get it to stick on a new rock I bought. But then I cleaned the foam on my vortech, and with more aggressive flow, it was on the move again. So turned down the pump and its staying put.

What flow do you have it set for?

I have the MP40 set on reef crest mode (yellow breathing) at 50% peak.

Very familiar with this mode... Mine likes it.

That does not make sense. Change it down some and see what happens... Maybe like 30%

At the 50% setting, Mag is staying put, so no need to dial it down; but at 70% (which is where I had it) Mag was not staying put.
