Uh oh

Today i woke up to a snail on it backside(ug) so i reached in the tank to flip him over, in the process of doing this i somehow "dented" the hole where the crown of the tubeworm came out. Is this his death sentence or will he fix it on his own?

no they can fix their tubes. its rare-ish but sometimes they can even completly rebuild thier tubes, with that said you could still be unlucky
