What a turnaround indeed! Its amazing what a couple fish can do for the tank. I would actually be interested in an overall equipment description and a quick description of your dosing regiment if you don't mind Denadai. Pretty please?

Hi Sedor,

My setup is :

Deltec 701
HQI 250W 14.5K coral gieseman + 4 x T5 ATI Blue Blus
Vortech MP 40

Daily :

1 drop mb7
10 drops vodka
1 drop Iron
1 drop Lugol
2 drops Koral Color
2 drops AA

5G water change monthly, and sometimes I add a sock with carbon in my sump

I think that´s all

Best Regards

So by a drop you mean with a pipette or something similar? If so wow that's not much vodka at all! I guess you don't need a lot when you don't have many fish. I am up to about 5 ml per day of vodka, and 9 drops of mb7 and i'm still fighting phosphates a bit. Needless to say I am jealous. That Deltec probably helps a lot though!

Yes, like a pipette. 10 drops of vodka, I think is less than 1 ml, I will measure in ml 10 drops and I tell you at night

My po4 and no3 is zero by tests

Is just a matter of time and patience , soon you will have similar or better colors than mine

Best Regards

Hi Denadai,

Looks great!

Those Sergeant Majors are gonna get big over time and they are super aggressive when full grown. Just keep an eye on them.

I know that, I got from the ocean close here, in a couple of months they back to ocean

Best Regards

i wouldnt reccomend that. fish and corals can pick up alot of diseases and parasites in our aquariums not visible to the eye and releasing them back in the wild could spread whatever disease into the wild. give them to someone else or to a LFS. nice colors though.

i am having the same issue and cant figure why my bridsnest and poccilipora are dark but other acros and sps are very light in color almost bleached.
