Ultra rare Pseudojuloides resurfaces

So after making its debut this summer ay Greenwich Aquaria, another of these spectacular wrasses shows up. This one also from Kenya, showing up via Russo's Reef.

The fact that another one has been found goes to give greater support of this being a new species rather than a variant of Pseudojuloides severnsi or P. erythrops.

Yes it is a new species.

This along with another undescribed Pseudojuloides from the Marshalls and various other pacific islands are two new ones that are currently being studied by dr Benjamin victor.
