"Ultraviolet" Par 38?

Hello all,

I currently have 3 AI SOL Blues over my 125 gallon. They are 14" AWL with all 40 degree optics.. Any lower and they spotlight any higher they lose PAR (I did a lot of tweaking with a par meter). My sweet spot is 14" and they wont move from that height.

I wanted to run 3 stunner strips (403nm) alongside the AI's however at 14" I am afraid they will just flood my house with light and not my tank.

What are my options in getting "ultraviolet" light to supplement my AI's? I was thinking (if anyone even makes them) of running 2 Par 38 bulbs in between my AI units. I cant really place T5's on my setup since its open top and the fixture would block the light from the AI units..

Suggestions?

I am actually in the same boat, I also run the Sol Blues and would like some additional UV light. A Par38 solution would probably be the easiest, but I have not been able to find one. Something similar to a Purple + T5 bulb in LED format would be perfect

The blue/magenta Ecoxotic LED stunner strips have the same look to them as a Purple Plus bulb. If you want more punch that that then get the Panorama PRO modules.
