sorry, i rotated on the pc but they didnt rotate when i uploaded.
the lights are interesting...there is a built in timer for 3 different sets.
set 1 - white
set 2 - white/blue
set 3 - dim/moon
having set 1&2 makes it brighter than i thought it would be.

Tonight, install UV sterilizer, heater, thermometer
Tomorrow, egg crate, rocks and sand
begin the cycle while i wait on In Tank fuge and media rack
skimmer eventually

Did Intank say how long till they have the updated Media/fuge racks?

Looks great cant wait for tomorrow,, was worried mine would be delayed due to weather in LA and MS.

Thanks for adding the pics too!!

In Tank said theirs will be in Thursday, I let them know that the 29 fuge and media rack were too short (thanks Scurvy Dawg) and i was looking forward to their evaluation and opinion.

I'll post more when they reply

No problem.

I decided I am going to cut down the stock media rack to about 3" tall and will then set the Intank Media Basket on that and it should work fine.

I really like the new streamlined look of the lid.

Messing with the LED timer...
Timer 1 - White/White: 10:00am ON - 8:00pm OFF
Timer 2 - White/Blue 8:00am ON - 10:00pm OFF
Timer 3 - Moon: 9:59pm ON - 8:01am OFF

With 1&2 on, its not bad.
Yeah, I'm bored....new tank, no rock or sand, cant wait to build out and cycle this weekend!

What rock and sand are you going with and weights of each? I have 20 pounds of sand and 30 pounds of reefcleaner rock on the way...

46 lbs Carib Sea - Live Special Grade Reef Sand should give me 2.5-3 inches.

I ordered Marco Rocks Key Largo Dry Rock 50Lb box...decided to take the long route and not go live. wont use all 50 but i wanted enough choices to aquascape properly. Rock arrives tomorrow with some epoxy puddy.

Chamber layout:
1 - Skimmer (TBD) but long after its cycled...coralife digital thermo
2 - fuge & media rack with some light on the back to grow cheto
3 - Original pump, Corallife mini uv, and heater.
MP10 in cube after cycle for waves :wavehand:

then lots 'o' beer and wait

I've heard both, keep it for that reason get rid of it cause it's a breeding ground of bad bacteria.

I would like to make a suggestion:

Run your moonlights from 6 am until 11:30 pm instead of from 10 pm until 8 am.

The moonlights have a 30 minute ramp up and ramp down and can also provide a lot of blue light and PAR during the day. Fish also need to sleep and having a lot of high energy blue light shining down on them at night isn't conducive to that. With this revised schedule there will be complete darkness from midnight until 6 am for the fish to rest and you still get to enjoy the moonlight look when you are awake and able to see it.
