ok, so I went into Plastic Depot and I bought 2 ~ 6' 1/4" acrylic rods instead, of the reflectors. they only cost me $3. I am pretty sure she messed up on the pricing.

I bought 2. Actually We just called, the 1/2" 6'ers are about 5 a piece. They need to be special ordered though. I plan on getting the bigger ones. I will probably order them monday. Plastic Depot is on filmore east of nevada. its on the let before Elpaso.

That's a little more than what they go for... Last I saw 1/4" rod was about .82 per 6ft setion.

wood dowel rod would cost more wouldn't it?
seems like those would be great for frag plugs, you could chop saw a few dozen off in a minute for $1 hmmm.....

i am not really worried about the rod price. i mean anything under 2 bux each i'm fine with me.

I think the 1/2 would be better for plugs. The 1/4 is kinda small.

I have been looking at it for about 2 hours, and so far I am pretty please with the results... I used most of the Fiji, and Tonga, but I have 3 huge pieces of Fiji, and a couple med pieces of Tonga. The smaller fiji I am going to bust up for for rubble, and mounting frags.

Thanks Lin. I am getting closer to adding water.... I need to start plumbing the tank this week, and order my sand.

I have 3 5g buckets of live sand that's in my fuge naw runing if you need sand. You need sand and i need more rock's LOL

I haven't decided on sand yet, I am thinking sugar sized grain. well we are going to raffle off a 25# mixed box @ the july meeting i think.

I might have some pieces left over, but I need to see if they are spoken for already. They are huge as well.
