uncured live rock

anybody here get uncured live rock from the beginning? Straight from the ocean. Would you do it again? Why or why not

Got mine from TBS and there is nothing better IMO, and yes hopefully will get another 200lbs for my 240g build.

Peter (nineball) did this, got it shipped straight from supplier. Set up disposable kiddy pools from Walmart in the garage to quarantine them. He had incredible diversity of life in his tank before... the end.

Yeah.. I'd definitely do it again, I also got TBS rock. the few nuisance hitchhikers eventually get sorted out.. I do still have a stone crab I'll be grabbing out of there soon.. but I'm pretty sure he ate all of my other pest crabs hehe. (I still have most of my hermits/snails)

I really like the idea of putting the rock in kiddie pools for quarantine. With the amont I'll need, Im a bit nervous about placing it all directly in the display.
