Under Sump Lights from Home Depot

go to Walmart get the clip on fixture back in hardware for 6.99 then go to lowes or home depot and get either a 6500k spiral bulb, I got two for 6 or 7 dollars or get the PAR38 or whatever they are for $12. I have been reading people have had success with these, but I just use the spiral bulbs 60 watt equivalent, they have been growing macro like crazy.

I really appreciate the feedback everyone.

I am actually not looking for a refugium light, but an actual light to illuminate my sump area. I am tired of ugly clip on shop lights and was wondering if anyone has installed led lights in the top of their sump just to turn on and off to see.

I see. sorry, thought you were looking for a fuge light. I am sure you can just use a under the cabinet led light set from lowes or home depot. or whatever you want really.

Good suggestion. Warm light temperature is important.

I use to use those small battery operated LED pucks and they were offered plenty of light. for the sump compartment. The ones you purchased will be more then enough

i run a sump light too, since most of the work happens inthe sump and most of the electricity is there too, it's good to be able to see.

I have a spring clamp light, like a metal shop light, i do run the 6500K CFL bulbs just because if i ever wanted a grow light for the entire sump i'd have it.

I run the LED clip on type for my ATS it works great and since it's an LED it doesn't flood the rest of the sump.

Id go to home depot and by a cheap fixture for a bulb.

I use the LED tape light, got it from Lowes, something like $25 going by memory, and it comes w/ a remote, I can change color, or even do color changing setting, works nice w/ my glass doors if I want mood lighting, or bright if I'm working in there.
