Underperforming 9010

I've got a 9010 that I've had for several months and has never performed well. The skimmer cup has never filled up more than 1/2", even after several weeks. The tank is not heavily stocked but it should be doing more than this. I've tried multiple cleanings and vinegar soakings and inspected everything but there isn't anything obviously wrong, no pinched hoses. How can I go about sending it in for service?

Do you have a constant water level? PS I just mailed mine to Tunze in Texas and left them a note inside the box and they fixed it and mailed it back to me.

Yes, water level is constant within 1/2" of the blue water line. It's sitting in the sump.

Have you adjust the air intake?

I've tried all the way open to all the way closed and everything in between. To be honest the blue air intake screw doesn't appear to do very much.

I think the venturi is broken or defective can you please check the pics I am going to post?

Wow, it turns out that I'm an idiot. The removable black cap that goes over the end of the air intake on the motor (the part has a hole through which the air hose nozzle inserts) was not attached and was still in the box. Hopefully that will fix my problem, I'll reassemble everything and set it back up. Thanks for your help.

I would be concerned that maybe it is broken, it should not have been loose in the box. Please pay attention to the photos I posted and make sure it disassembles as shown and the whole barrel end doesn't pull off, that would mean it is broken.

I got it reassembled and it's working very well now, I'm working on getting it dialed in. Thanks for your help.
