unhappy BTA?

Hey guys,

I have a red BTA which seems to have closed up completely. my green one is totally happy. Why could this be?

welll the red one opened up now but the green one has closed. the Red one wont eat any lance fish at all ATM

Maybe it's not hungry. How often are you trying to feed them? Give us some information about your tank and maybe someone will be able to help you.

The tank is 180G running on T5s (being replaced with MH next week) all reads seems normal. I feed it lance fish once a week.

I just want to save the pink one - i recon the green one will die soon.

All of this due to a snowstorm in the tank

Henk, can you take a clear and close up picture of the mouth of the green bta?
They can look like that when starting a split.
But without a clear picture of its mouth it is hard to say what it is doing.

wow is that pink one nice *drooling*

is the green one sticking to the rock? how long has it looked like that?

the green one dropped off the rock and started to "melt" i had to take him out and flush him
