Unhatched clownfish eggs

I had some eggs start to hatch last night so I moved the pot over to fry tank and left them overnight to hatch out. About 70% of them hatched, which I think is good, but would like to do better. The others turned white. I assume these are now dead. Did they die because I did not aerate them well enough?

Usually not enough air on them is the problem. If your new at this & you got 70% to hatch then your off to a good start.

Thank you, but I don't think that my 70% success had anything to do with me. I have been taking good notes and this pair seems to be laying and hatching on a predictable timetable. I think it was just good timing. I pulled the last batch and put an airstone inside the pot directly on them, but only 15-20% hatched, so I thought that they got too much aeration. This time I left airstone outside the pot about 3" away and got much better results. Next time I guess I will put the airstone a little closer and see what happens.
I tinted the water and added rots, but a lot of the fry are hanging on along the s2 long sides of the tank. I was told to put 2 bubble wands along the 2 short side of 10g and 50watt heater right aboove 1 of the bubble wands. I painted 3 of the sides black and the bottom white and have black posted board taped on the one side. Also have a 10w bulb over tank diffused with a few sheets of paper towel.
Any thoughts on why they are on the sides on the tank?
