Unidentifiable disease/fungus/bug?

I am having fits with my zoas right now. I have searched for hours and can't find anything that fits what is going here. It seems to affect my AOG, hobgobblins, and eagle eyes the worst but all have seen some of this stigma. They are puckering up super tight and the a small "cap" forms over the top. This cap looks like a scab, sand to slightly browner in color. They stay this way for about 3 weeks until they finally open again but they have lost all their color at this point. It seems to roam around the tank but never affects whole colonies at the same time. just 12-24 polyps at a time. I have recently noticed tonight on some of them their little tiny black specks all over them. they don't seem to move but are about the size of a grain of sand, perhaps a little smaller. What on earth is this crap and what do I do to fix it. My biggest problem is that most of them are grown to my rock work and are not removable from the tank for a furan2 treatment. The few that I can remove will be treated with furan 2 but until it arrives I am SOL. I have been told to perhaps look into a treatment of Melafix on the DT to try to treat it but that is all I can come up with. PLEASE HELP before I lose them.

Maybe some type of mite? I've had some weird mite in the past, but they caused a spider mite kind of webbing over the corals.

No, I am nearly certain it is not that. There are little tiny blackish dots all over the Zoas that are closed up. They are no bigger than the dot in this " i ". They don't appear to move at all and I have seen no other critters around them to make think of spiders, nudi, etc.

No they don't dissolve. I haven't seen any fungus yet. I am going to try to get some pics soon as I can find a camera that will take good enough pics.

Pics. The red arrow is an Armor that has the brown cap over the top. The other is all the little blackish spots on the out side of the Zoa. These are the best pics I can get so I hope they help.

some of your polyps seem to be pinching.... what's your water paramters? especially Alk/Dkh/pH/Salinity and temp?

I have the same problem. Everytime I buy zoas they die, just like that...Then all of the sudden outta no where, they come back thriving...IDK

No its always stable. It usually is 10 right after a water change and it drops to about 9.5 over a week then back to 10 when I water change again.
