You can't tell from the picture, but it has almost a pearly appearance, is completely stationary, does not retract when touched, and is rigid. After abut an hour on google, I decided to let you fine folks have a stab at it. Thanks!
I also think it looks like a small mushroom. That's what mine notice when I first notice hitchhiking mushrooms. Mine close up though if you touch them. But maybe all don't do that.
